Phillip Caldwell, II, Ph.D.
President of Operations
Dr. Caldwell is an expert in business development and growth with more than 25 years of experience in client engagement and consulting.
Dr. Caldwell leads the Resolute team as the Founder and President; he works to establish long-range goals, set the strategic course, and lay out a sensible plan for goal attainment. In addition, Dr. Caldwell holds the current rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Leadership & Counseling and PI for the Michigan Public School Finance research project, supported by the John W. Porter Distinguished Chair in Urban Education and Michael G. Morris Endowed Chair for Outstanding Faculty Members within the College of Education at Eastern Michigan University.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Florida A&M University, graduating in 2000, and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration with an emphasis on educational leadership, policy, and analysis from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2007, and Doctor of Philosophy with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2016. Dr. Caldwell has led several projects of similar size and scope, including work with Ann Arbor Public Schools, Shaker Heights City Schools, and South Bend Community Public Schools.
