Dr. Caldwell’s background includes over 15 years in the education sector as an evaluator, evaluating major initiatives, making policy recommendations particularly around areas of school finance, data-driven decision-making, data quality, and curriculum. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Florida A&M University, a Master of Education in Educational Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Mathematics Education from UW-Madison.
Dr. Smart’s background includes over 20 years in the education sector including teaching, school administration, state education consulting, data systems development, building capacity, auditing, higher education, grant writing, quality assurance development, and program evaluation for continuous improvement. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Western Michigan University, a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Michigan.
Morgan is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. Morgan manages the day to day tasks including leading the project assistants, data analysis, scheduling and organizing meetings, and developing program reports.
Sahar is a second-year medical student at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine. Shar has an extensive background in research, validation, and data analysis.
Faizah is an undergraduate student at Wayne State University. Faizah has an extensive background in researching and locating studies relevant to the work being conducted.
Ms. Brown is a K-12 subject matter expert for assistive technology and adaptive services. She is the co-founder of the Assistive Technology Training and Information Center (ATTIC) in Detroit and set standards for southeastern Wayne County in the delivery of assistive technology services. Ms. Brown has developed assistive technology programs in various districts within Oakland and Wayne Counties. Currently, Ms. Brown has coordinated and managed the assistive technology program for several districts throughout Michigan.
Ms. Sinnett-fox serves as a K-12 subject matter expert. As a lifetime certified K-8 teacher, community outreach coordinator, workshop coach, trainer and facilitator to educators, parents, students and the professional community—Ms. Sinnett-Fox brings more than 25 years of educational consulting throughout the state of Michigan and Indiana.
Dr. Pearson serves as the Senior Quality Assurance Team Leader. As a consultant, she spent over five years working with the Michigan Department of Education, providing training to district leaders and staff in the area of cultural proficiency throughout the state of Michigan. Consulting includes conducting School Quality Reviews throughout the country, including leading school reviews for the New York State Department of Education, Alabama State Department of Education, and Minnesota Public and Charter School Districts.
Ms. Ross serves as Senior Strategy & Project Management. As a leadership specialist and skilled program designer and facilitator, Ms. Ross has more than 15 years’ experience working with organizational leaders across industries. Her professional work emphasizes the importance of cultural competency and helping organizations with the practical integration of diversity and inclusion into their existing structures. She collaborates with key stakeholders to gain meaningful insights that aid in the development of various professionals and improve practices and performance.
